The Derwent Burnisher is a hard colourless pencil which when used over layers of pigment provides a rich polished finish. Burnishing pushes the pigment into the paper and leaves a well blended, photo like finish. By sealing the image with a heavy layer of colourless wax it gives the image a polished or reflective look and makes the colours appear brighter. Available individually or in a blister containing 2 of each of the blender and burnisher pencils, plus an eraser and sharpener.
