HIGHLY CONCENTRATED PIGMENTS AND COMPLETE SOLUBILITY

Pushing the boundaries of research, the Manufacture's craftsmen have developed a lead of superlative quality, incorporating highly concentrated pigments in a formula that ensures complete solubility, superb transparency and optimal lightfastness.

The softness of the lead in addition to its large, 3.8 mm diameter mean that Museum Aquarelle pencils can be used in a number of ways – both dry and as watercolours. From precision drawing to wet drawing, blending, mixed, gradation or overlaying techniques: artists now have the ability to achieve the entire spectrum of watercolour effects. A palette of 76 colours springs to life through contact with water and with textured paper.

To highlight the identity of the Museum Aquarelle range, the Caran d'Ache designers have clothed the body of the pencils in a matt black-varnished livery and a long capsule matching the colour of the lead.

Museum Aquarelle colour pencils are designed and manufactured in Caran d'Ache's Geneva workshops in line with the Swiss Made quality label and with eco-friendly standards and certifications.
