Pronounced Die-AIR-eh-lide, this warm yellow-orange (think ripe pumpkins) is considered by some to be a replacement for Indian Yellow. This synthetic organic pigment is transparent, lightfast, and very granular. Diarylide Yellow works beautifully in botanical and floral paintings, as well as in landscapes and still life compositions.
